Dr Kriti Agnihotri

MBBS, FRANZCO — General, Cataract & Paediatric Ophthalmologist

Dr Kriti Agnihotri is a well-trained general ophthalmologist at Marsden Eye Specialists, offering broad-scope adult eye care built on comprehensive general ophthalmology training, with additional subspecialist skills in paediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus surgery.

Dr Agnihotri completed her general ophthalmology surgical training through the Prince of Wales Hospital and Sydney Eye Hospital network, providing her with a strong foundation across the full breadth of anterior and posterior segment eye disease. She then went on to undertake dedicated subspecialist training in paediatric ophthalmology at Birmingham Children's Hospital in the United Kingdom — one of the world's leading centres for the subspecialty. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO).

Dr Agnihotri holds Visiting Medical Officer appointments at Sydney Children's Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital, where she continues to care for children with a broad range of paediatric eye conditions. At the core of her practice is general ophthalmology, providing broad-scope, well-grounded care for common anterior and posterior segment conditions in adults.

Building on this foundation, she offers two areas of subspecialist expertise: paediatric ophthalmology, including vision screening and the diagnosis and management of paediatric-specific pathology; and adult strabismus surgery, covering both surgical and non-surgical treatment of eye misalignment and binocular vision disorders.

Dr Agnihotri takes a patient- and family-centred approach, taking the time to explain findings clearly and involve parents in decisions about their child's care. She welcomes referrals for general ophthalmology as well as paediatric and adult strabismus cases. She currently consults from our Parramatta and Penrith rooms.
